The CCA Annual General Meeting in Ottawa brings together directors from provincial member associations to determine policy for the industry. The meeting also allows CCA the opportunity to meet with Ministers, Members of Parliament, Senators and other key influencers as well as host an annual reception held near Parliament Hill. The CCA Semi-Annual Meeting brings together producers and industry affiliates for networking, entertainment, information sessions and policy setting. Following the success of the inaugural Canadian Beef Industry Conference (CBIC) in 2016, the CCA Semi-Annual will remain part of this one-of-a-kind event for the foreseeable future. Part of the National Beef Strategy, the CBIC brings together the semi-annual and annual meetings of several key stakeholder groups, along with learning and networking opportunities to create a unique experience for all participants, regardless of their connection to the Canadian beef industry.
