RBC Future Launch joins the CYL program as a Gold Level Sponsor

Calgary, AB – The Canadian Cattlemen’s Association (CCA) is pleased to announce RBC Future Launch as a Gold Sponsor of the CCA’s Cattlemen’s Young Leaders (CYL) Mentorship Program.

RBC Future Launch is a 10-year, $500 million commitment to empower Canadian youth for the jobs of tomorrow, with a focus on providing young people opportunities for networking, skill development, practical work experience and mental wellbeing supports and services.

“RBC’s commitment to youth will play an important role in providing career and leadership development opportunities to young people in the Canadian beef industry,” said CCA President, Bob Lowe. “This generous investment through RBC Future Launch will help position the sector for future success by grooming the next generation of leaders.”

Through their aligned goals, RBC Future Launch and the CYL Program will work together to enrich young leaders’ program experiences by providing unique networking, training and leadership skill building opportunities.

“We’re excited to be working with the CYL Program to help bring the promise of RBC Future Launch to life through this important initiative,” said RBC Senior Director, Youth Strategy and Innovation, Mark Beckles. “We have a responsibility to prepare young people for the opportunities and ambiguities of the future. That starts with teaching them the valuable skills to keep them future ready and feeling prepared for the future of work.”

The CYL Program is a national initiative of the Canadian Cattlemen’s Association which provides young people ages 18-35 with industry specific training and mentorship opportunities. Through networking, travel and mentorship, participants are equipped with the skills they need to further the success of the Canadian beef industry in the future.
