Canada’s Beef and Cattle Market Access
Following Canada’s announcement of its first BSE case in May 2003, most of Canada’s trading partners banned imports of Canadian cattle, beef, and beef products. The following list identifies those trading partners which have subsequently resumed full or partial trade in Canadian beef and/or cattle. The list is based on those trading partners who have official approval of Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) certification, as of October 13, 2016. You will also find an overview of Canada's market access as supplied by DFATD by clicking here.
