What BIXS offers the industry

• BIXS is an information system among all participants in the value chain, building upon the systems we already have in place.
• Participating in BIXS enables producers to benchmark and compare their production management system against an industry average and over time, track their own improvement.
• Having BIXS span the value chain will foster an environment where beef cow-calf and feedlot producers and packer/processors can establish business relationships and improve their operational efficiencies and profitability as well as overall beef product quality.
• More accurate individual animal/carcass information will flow up and down the chain. 

• BIXS will validate specific brand attributes or claims including, but not limited to, age and source verification, Verified Beef Production, environmental stewardship, and animal care practices. 

• When rolled out to the entire industry, the potential for voluntary data and information exchange will only be limited by the imagination.
