South Korea border closure to Canadian beef
On January 20, 2012, the Government of Canada announced it had restored market access for Canadian beef in South Korea.

The process to restore access for Canadian beef had been agreed to in June 2011 by the Canadian and South Korean governments. With the Korean Government process finalized, Canadian beef and beef products from cattle under 30 months of age were eligible for export to Korea immediately. The agreement was reached outside of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Dispute launched by Canada in 2009.
