Feedlots

The following Good Production Practices apply to most beef feedlot operations. The objective is to provide cattle feeders in Canada with an information tool to be used as a guideline. It will serve as the framework to develop and implement good production practices for the handling and feeding of various commodities available to cattle feeding operations. In essence, the intent is to assist the cattle feeding industry to strive for and achieve consistent feeding and feed preparation practicesas well as other management practices to provide a safe, quality beef product.
