Meals, Fats and other Feedstuffs

Proper storage of supplements, meals, oils, fats, minerals, roughage and various by-product feeds, either bagged or bulk, often require unique considerations compared to grains. The most notable differences are:

Remember to always clean feedstuff storage and handling areas and associated equipment including feeding equipment to reduce dust and cross contamination of ingredients, discourage rodents and other infestations, while at the same time providing a safer work environment for all feedlot employees.
