Calgary, AB – The Canadian Cattlemen’s Association (CCA) received encouraging news today when the Government of Canada secured full market access for Canadian beef and cattle exports into Jordan. International Trade Minister, Stockwell Day, and Agriculture Minister, Gerry Ritz, announced Jordan’s decision to lift their import ban imposed in 2003 due to the discovery of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE).
