CCA welcomes Canada - U.S. effort to streamline cross-border business

Calgary, AB – On Friday February 4, Prime Minister Stephen Harper met with U.S. President Barack Obama and the two leaders announced the initiation of work between Canada and the U.S. to streamline cross-border business including the creation of a United States-Canada Regulatory Cooperation Council.

The Canadian Cattlemen’s Association (CCA) President Travis Toews called the development “an immensely important initiative for the Canada-U.S. cattle and beef industry.”
