CCA Statement on COOL reaction

Calgary, AB – With just days to go before the May 23 deadline set by the World Trade Organization (WTO) for the United States (U.S.) to amend its mandatory Country of Origin Labeling (COOL) law, Canadian Cattlemen’s Association (CCA) President Martin Unrau met with his Mexican and American counterparts to discuss areas for cooperation.

Unrau and Confederacion Nacional de Ganaderos (CNOG) President Oswaldo Chazaro and National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) President-Elect Bob McCan met in Queretaro, Mexico to discuss areas where the three cattle producer groups can cooperate.
