CCA appreciates assistance for livestock producers in Saskatchewan

The Canadian Cattlemen’s Association (CCA) welcomed today’s news that the Governments of Canada and Saskatchewan will provide assistance for livestock producers facing extra costs to feed their animals as a result of the unprecedented moisture levels across the province in 2010.
CCA Vice President Martin Unrau said the assistance is appreciated, noting last year’s excess moisture has created additional problems for producers already dealing with cash flow issues related to difficult market conditions over the last decade.
