Beef Value Chain Round Table
Purpose
Launched in January 2003 by the Government of Canada,
the Beef Value Chain Roundtable (BVCRT) has become a key means in
ensuring a coordinated response to Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy
(BSE) and a key facilitator for various other working groups to engage
with representatives from the entire beef value chain.
The BVCRT has since emerged to now place more focus on long-term issues.
