Additional Information
Documentation Submitted after the Deadline for Project Proposals and Appeals of Awards for Funding Projects
Once a project proposal has been submitted, the CCMDC may request any missing or additional documentation. No unsolicited documentation is permitted after the deadline date for the receipt of project proposals. Decisions taken on awards made to projects by the CCMDC are considered final. However, if an organization or individual who has submitted a project considers that the process by which the project has been reviewed has been violated, they may appeal the process. Appeals must be made in writing to the Chairman of the CCMDC within sixty (60) days from when the award was announced by the CCMDC.
Final Reports
Organizations or individuals, who have had projects funded by the CCMDC, will be requested to submit a final report within three (3) months of the conclusion of the project. The final report must elaborate on the major achievements of the project in advancing the Canadian beef and cattle genetics industry or value-added beef exports. The CCMDC will not provide any additional funding, other than initially identified. The CCMDC and other appropriate individuals in the CCA will assist organizations and individuals to promote achievements from projects financially supported by the CCMDC. A final report is required before disbursement of funds.
Confidentiality of Project Proposals
All those who review proposals submitted to the CCMDC (reviewers as well as persons directly associated with the CCMDC) will be required to sign a statement of confidentiality in their review of the proposed projects.
