Creation of an ‘Agricultural Market Access Secretariat’

In November 2008, the CCA and its industry partners in the Beef Value Chain Round Table presented an export market access strategy [PDF / 272.12KB] which included several recommendations for opening borders to Canadian beef. Over the past few months, the federal government adopted several recommendations including formally announced the opening of the new secretariat.
